Real and FC Bayern disappointed, Juventus and ManCity won

The defending champions lost in Moscow, while the Bavarians were unable to get past a draw at home. Juventus Turin won confidently, Manchester City thanks to a late goal. The Austrians lost Grillitsch, Posch and Schick.

Vienna – Defending champions Real Madrid and Bayern Munich suffered surprising losses of points in the Football Champions League. Real lost 0:1 at ZSKA Moscow, the Bavarians did not get more than 1:1 at home against Ajax Amsterdam. Juventus Turin and Manchester City, on the other hand, celebrated favorite victories.

In Munich, Bavaria’s regular David Alaba and 20-year-old Champions League debutant Maximilian Wöber in an Ajax dress shared points fairly in the Austrian duel. This was another setback for the Bavarians, who had already lost the Bundesliga lead after only one point from two matches.

Duel: Alaba against Wöber

The game began for the Munich side as Mats Hummels wished, when Arjen Robben’s cross was pocketed by head to 1-0 by Mats Hummels (4th). But the Kovac squad soon lost their sovereignty and Noussair Mazraoui (22nd) took the equaliser. Alaba came too late and faked the ball slightly. Afterwards the young Ajax team delivered a duel on eye level with a flawless Wöber to the Bavarians. Donny van de Beek even missed the chance to win the away game (72nd), Lasse Schöne thundered a free-kick to the crossbar (92nd). In the parallel game, Benfica Lisbon won AEK Athens 3-2.

Real Madrid, who suffered their first defeat in the premier league since April, were worse off than Bayern. Nikola Vlasic scored the decisive goal in the second minute. The Russians took the lead in Group G, with AS Roma beating Viktoria Pilsen 5-0, not least thanks to three goals from Edin Dzeko.

Juventus also celebrated without Ronaldo

Juventus Turin, on the other hand, won three points 3:0 against Young Boys Bern and celebrated their ninth victory in the ninth compulsory match even without the suspended Cristiano Ronaldo. Paulo Dybala represented the most successful scorer in Champions League history perfectly with a triple pack (5th, 33rd, 69th).

For the Young Boys, who are leading the domestic league without losing any points, it was the second clear defeat in the premier league after a 3-0 lead against Manchester United at the start. Thorsten Schick played through for the Swiss. In Group H’s second match, Manchester United and Valencia went on to separate without a goal.

Manchester City won by late goal

Manchester City only managed to win TSG Hoffenheim 2-1 with a goal in the 87th minute. Hoffenheim suffered ten losses in the process. The shortage of personnel on the defensive was particularly dramatic, with Kevin Akpoguma (23) and Justin Hoogma (20) as well as 21-year-old Austrian Stefan Posch playing in the three-man defensive line – and making the decisive mistake.

In the 87th minute, Posch jumped the ball too far away, David Silva accepted the gift. “Considering the situation we are in, I am very proud. It is bitter to concede a goal so late. A small mistake is bitterly punished,” said TSG coach Julian Nagelsmann. His team with ÖFB team player Florian Grillitsch (until 82nd) had already taken the lead after 44 seconds through Ishak Belfodil, Sergio Aguero scored 1:1 (8th). Olympique Lyon defended the lead with a 2:2 against Schachtar Donezk. Camspins Casino offers a completely different experience from the other online casino gaming sites.
